Rosan Roeslani

Chief Executive Officer of Danantara Indonesia

Rosan Perkasa Roeslani is a distinguished Indonesian entrepreneur, diplomat, and statesman with extensive experience across the investment, finance, mining, healthcare, real estate, and media sectors. Since August 2024, he has served as the Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry, as well as Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), where he leads national efforts to strengthen Indonesia’s investment climate and accelerate industrial downstream development.

Prior to his current ministerial role, he held several prominent positions, including Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (2023–2024), Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the United States (2021–2023), and Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) from 2015 to 2020.

His leadership also extends to the sports and national policy sectors, where he has served as Chairman of the Indonesian Weightlifting Federation (PABSI), Vice Chairman of the COVID-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee, and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian National Board of Arbitration (BANI).

Beyond his distinguished public service career, Rosan has played a crucial role in transforming Indonesia’s private sector as the founder of Recapital Group, a leading investment firm. His expertise in banking, corporate restructuring, and industrial development has been instrumental in advancing Indonesia’s economic growth and strengthening the nation’s business ecosystem.
