Pandu Patria Sjahrir is a prominent Indonesian entrepreneur and investor with a strategic focus on energy transition and the digital economy. With more than two decades of experience, he has played a pivotal role in advancing financial technology, digital infrastructure, and sustainable energy initiatives across Indonesia.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago (2001), an MBA from Stanford University (2007), and an Executive MBA from Tsinghua University through the Belt and Road program (2020).
He maintains a strong presence in Indonesia’s investment and business landscape, particularly in the fields of energy transition, digital infrastructure, and fintech. As a founding employee and Vice President of PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (2010–2025), he spearheaded the company’s transformation into a major force in the sustainable energy sector, driven by a commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. His leadership also extends to Electrum, where he focuses on developing and scaling Indonesia’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
In the fintech sector, he has served as Chairman of the Indonesian Fintech Association (AFTECH) since 2021, where he promotes digital financial inclusion and the strengthening of regulatory frameworks. In 2025, he was elected Chairman of the Electric Mobility Ecosystem Association (AEML), further advancing initiatives to accelerate Indonesia’s transition to electric mobility.
As a Founding Partner of AC Ventures (2020–2025) and Managing Partner of Indies Capital Partners (2017–2025), he has played an instrumental role in supporting prominent startups such as Gojek, Sea Limited, and Bukalapak, contributing significantly to regional innovation and economic growth.
His broader national contributions include serving as a Commissioner of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (2020–2024) and holding strategic roles within APINDO and the Indonesian Surfing Association, reflecting his commitment to fostering a strong investment climate and supporting national sports development.
